WWW Wednesday {26 July, 2017}

Just a warning before I get into this latest post, not much has changed really since the last one. I have had a lot of time at work, and not much in regards to ‘down time’. But hopefully, the next one will show a bit of change, at least I hope it will.

And even though I am writing this on a Thursday, I am sure it is still Wednesday somewhere in the world, right?

I first saw this on Aimee’s My Life in Books blog and it is also being hosted on the Taking on a World of Words blog, and it has had me wondering as to what it is. So, here is what goes down – Answer the next three questions in a post, share the link in the comments thread on Taking on a World of Words – I personally, will be leaving each new post in both.

Anyway, here are the three questions:

  • What are you currently reading?
  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What do you think you’ll read next?

Currently Reading:-

I am slowly making my way through The Bone Season by Samantha Shannon still. I have just reached the 200 page mark, and I am rather enjoying it. I feel so in depth reading the story I lose track of what page I am on. Give me two hours and I could get through maybe three chapters and go from being on page 200 to being on page 260. Thanks Aimee for the suggestion, I’m going to have to get a copy of The Mime Order soon for us both, and maybe we can do a read-a-long as well with it.

I am also still reading Three Dark Crowns by Kendare Blake, however, looking at the page numbers on my ereader, I am not far off finishing this one. Hopefully when I get a spare moment or two I will finish it off. With possibly a review soon to follow after.

Recently Finished:-

Sadly nothing new to add here, as I said before, I have not had the chance to finish anything that I have been reading recently. The joys of working extra shifts, I guess when people take a week (or two) off and you’re the one that is gotten to cover the work. It’s life, I guess.

Reading Next:-

As I said in the last post, I have quite a bit of books on my ereader that I have listed on my TBR pile for the year. I am still thinking that I may read The Red Queen next in regards to ebooks. From what I’ve seen online most love the book, as well as the series so I hope I will too.

The book that I am still tempted to grab once I finish Bone Season is the first book in the Kiwis at War series – 1914: Riding Into War by Susan Brocker. I have always had a fascination with history, and having extended family serve in both World Wars has kept me interested in finding out about what happened there and what it must have felt like to be fighting so far from home.

    • Haha. That’s alright. I had my Uni blog as my main one on my profile, so I think you ended up following that one instead. But yay!! Now you can see when I write on both of those now.
